NOTD: Finger Paints Warm He-art-ed

I am in love with this polish!  It is so nice and inviting looking.  It’s definitely going to be a staple this fall.  A great purchase for my first Finger Paint (got it at Sally’s).

Its a dusty brown with red/orange shimmer, reminds me of a cozy fire. Awesome!

I topped it with Nubar 2010, since the flakies are pretty much the same as the shimmer colors. It kind of overpowered the shimmer though; I think I liked it better plain.

Theme Week: UnTried Polish – Orange Glass-Fleck

Woohoo! Two more untries down. I loooove anything nautical, so I bought the entire Anchors Away collection. Tried Lighthouse, White Cap, and Hey Sailor earlier this week and enjoyed them all.

My mani is China Glaze Life Preserver with Wet n’ Wild 9.0.2.1.Orange on the accent. This is two coats of Life Preserver, I would have done three for no visible nail line (VNL) but it was sooo late and I wanted to sleep.

This polish is a bit darker than it photographs, its a teesy bit more red-orange than yellow-orange…think old school life preserver color that you see on ferries and stuff. I wasn’t sure how it would look with my skin tone, but it is playing nice.

Only one coat of the WnW on my ring fingers.
Topped with Seche Vite.

Please excuse the tip wear…I type violently and I was too lazy to tip wrap, lol.

Theme Week: Untried Polish – Essie Shimmer

This was my first time wearing Essie ever! I thought they were a little streaky on the first coat, but evened out nicely. And this is four untried polishes for me, yeah stash bashing!

Essie Merino Cool (brown/taupe creme)
Essie Pretty Edgy (kelly green creme)
Konad Special Polish in White
China Glaze White Cap (gold shimmer/glitter?) 1 coat on accent nails

Looking at it today, I would only do Konad on the accent nails and skip the glitter in the future. But it was great stamping practice (so hard to get the image straight)!
